Orange Walk District in Belize

The third largest district of Belize is the Orange Walk District that is also the most import sugar cane production region of Belize. Orange Walk is has a diverse population in a diverse environment.


Sugar city or the Orange Walk District Belize has been a home of fertile rain forests, huge sugar refining factories and Mayan ruins. A visit to Belize is inclusive of dining, fishing, ruin tours, shopping and jungle tours.  
 
Orange Walk District covers 1790 square miles area and its population comprises of mostly Mestizo, Creole, Spanish and Mennonite farmers. Also, the district is well known for its archeological sites. Agriculture is the major occupation of the natives of this district. A stroll across the district is always fulfilling.
