Coco Plum Island Resort at Coco Plum Cay, Belize

The Coco Plum Island Resort is located on three cayes, islands, with a total acreage of 16 acres. The cayes are 8 miles of the coast of Dangriga in the Stann Creek District of Belize, which is a 30 minutes boat ride. In 2015 the Coco Plum Island Resort is number 1 of the top 10 hotels for romance in Belize according to Tripadvisor.

The main parts of the resort are located on the middle island. From there it is easily possible to walk to the other islands. The Coco Plum Cay, as the islands are called together, is also called Coco Plum Caye or Coco Plum Island. The resort is a all inclusive resort for adults with a total of fourteen ocean-front cabanas for a couple and one ocean-front villa for two or three couples.
Activities on the island include relaxing in a hammock or comfortable chair on your veranda, swimming, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, pedal boating, stand up paddle boarding, hobie cat sailing and bird watching on Man-O-War Caye. Snorkeling and diving is possible in the environment of the island by kayaking there or by taking a boat tour to patch reefs, mangrove habitats, underwater caves and the southern Barrier Reef. Man-O-War Caye, a bird sanctuary, is located a 1/2 mile from Coco Plum Caye. This caye is home to birds like pelicans, brown booby birds and magnificent frigate birds. The resort is also offering three mainland excursions. Keep in mind that although the resort is on an island, the island does not have really nice beaches, so relaxing on the beach is not that good possible.

The resort has one private restaurant, Coco Palms, which serves a variety of American-style and Belizean dishes. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and diner. The resort is next to that also offering a morning snack and a late afternoon snack.
The all inclusive packets for a stay at the Coco Plum Resort start at a price of BZD 2400 (USD 1200) per person, based on double occupancy for 4 nights. Coco Plum Resort is also offering packages for honeymooning and a Belizean wedding. Due to the location this will be a honeymoon or a wedding at what feels like a private beach.
Most reviews of the Coco Plum Island Resort are excellent, but you have to keep in mind that you will be staying at an island with is minimizing your options in what to do to the offers of the resort.
