  • Chaa Creek: Also referred to as the Lodge at Chaa Creek or the Chaa Creek Lodge, is located in the neighborhood of the twin towns San Ignacio and Santa Elena in the Cayo District of Belize. The lodge is located in the rainforest on the Macal River and the theme of the lodge is eco friendly, organic and conservation.
  • Clarissa Falls Resort: The resort is located on a Belizean-owned family 900-acres cattle ranch, La Clarissa Ranch, next to the Mopan River and is through this location not a real jungle resort. Clarissa Falls Resort is located 5 miles southwest of the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena in the Cayo District of Belize. The resort is near to the border with Guatemala which is at a distance of 6 miles.
  • Macal River Camp: the Camp is located in the neighborhood of the twin towns San Ignacio and Santa Elena in the Cayo District of Belize. It consists of casitas, which are rented out relatively cheaply and mostly as a group accommodation. Macal River Camp is able to use the amenities, facilities and tours of the resort Chaa Creek, which is at a 0.5 mile distance. The Lonely Planet selected the Macal River Camp at Chaa Creek as one of their recommended accommodation in Southwest of San Ignacio.
